This month I tried to do a healthy thing, to be kind to my ever-complaining guts. I got some good bacteria capsules, and had a break from my pink wine. After two weeks I didn’t feel any better and in some ways felt worse, so I stopped the good bacteria and had some wine.
I’m keeping off the fruit and veg though – my guts hate all that stuff. I’m sticking to bland pale food – mash potato, rice, porridge, and chicken and eggs. Tea coffee and milk (and a little wine) are being tolerated but i am trying to avoid fizzy drinks.
By the end of the month though I seem to have regained my sweet tooth, craving chocolate, which i have not had for quite a while. I’ll need to keep a check on that or i will be undoing all the good of the last few months.
