Autumn sunrise
Bright but biting
Cold but inviting
I Embrace it
Like the newly hunted scarf
Hugs me.
Autumn sunshine
Low in sky
Leaves still clinging
Please don’t die
Golden, red, amongst the green
Please Stay
Just a little longer
To brighten the dull day
As evening closes in
The Autumn colours burn
And warm my heart
Autumn Sunset
Shining through
the luminescent leaves
Like disco bulbs on pause
So bright
And yet so sad
To know that soon
The glow
Will go
The leaves will fall
And all
That’s left
Is winter’s stark
Dark
night.
