Poems written during the pandemic of 2020-21
During the pandemic I was considered “clinically vulnerable” to the effects of the virus. So I was shielding. I had just retired from work, and had planned to do so much, but everything was put on hold.
I’ve always written poetry, so writing about my isolation seemed the best way to help me through. I stayed home, learned how to use YouTube and Zoom, and wrote poetry. This is my Covid story
